Daily science fiction

Three teenage girls gather to chat after school. Innocent, enough, right? Hell hath no fury like a teenage girl scorned!

I wrote this flash piece very quickly at the end of my six weeks at the Odyssey Writing Workshop. In some ways it felt like a gift from the Muse, descending almost fully formed into my pen. I wish all of my other stories wrote themselves that easily.

This story, published online, was also reprinted in "Rocket Dragons Ignite," the Year Two anthology of "Daily Science Fiction" stories.
